	Russell Boating Club - Junior Sailing We hold Junior Sailing on Monday afternoons over the summer. Junior sailing last season was boosted by the sailing school run alongside our Russell Boating Club programme; with the highlight being a successful and fun Junior Regatta. Many thanks to Alex. I was very pleased our club was able to replace the stolen outboard from our rigid inflatable last season. The vessels is the most used and useful craft for community and club activities. OurOptimist fleet is still looking smart after their refit, and remember the Laser boats can be used by arrangement. Good sailing Brett, phone 403 7799


	Racing 2017-18 This seasons evening racing starts September 27th with the first of the Cater Marine Series followed by Omata Estate Series on 4th October and Willis Sails Series on October 6th. The Weekend Series first race is 15th October 2017 Tall Ships This event is held in early January each year.
