	Short Ships This event will be held on teh 3rd March 2018 and is still at the "being organsied" stage. We'll have more detailed information very soon so please revisit this page. If you'd like to be involved in helping to organise this popular event; no matter how big or small any contribution is most welcome. If so please contact a committee member When: 3rd March 2018 at Russell Boating Club. What: Kayaks, waka, canoes, paddle boards, rowing boats and maybe other water craft Time: 8am Registration, 9:15 Briefing, 10am Racing starts How to Enter: Registration will be forms available at the Russell Boating Club. and other venues in and around Russell soon.


	Racing 2017-18 This seasons evening racing starts September 27th with the first of the Cater Marine Series followed by Omata Estate Series on 4th October and Willis Sails Series on October 6th. The Weekend Series first race is 15th October 2017 Tall Ships This event is held in early January each year.
